Spend an enriching day participating in the United in Spirit retreat
March 1st at the Center for Peace and Spirituality in Bellevue.
We will focus on finding light in darkness, carrying and projecting that light,
There will be periods of for Centering Prayer, Lectio and other spiritual practices.
We will also join with our brothers and sisters in faith from other traditions in a day of spiritual fellowship.
We will be blessed with the guidance and wisdom of the Northwest Interfaith Friends-Imam Jamal Rahman, Rabbi Olivier BenHaim and Pastor Dave Brown, together with Sister Kathleen Pruitt, CSJP/Zen Master in a program facilitated by Contemplative Outreach of Puget Sound North. Registration is $35 to permit us to show our appreciation to our presenters for their time and wisdom and to cover the cost of using the beautiful Peace and Spirituality Center operated by the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace on the Lake Washington shoreline in Bellevue. Scholarships will be available.
Contemplative Outreach of Puget Sound North will provide beverages-coffee, tea, water plus pastries and fruit in the morning; you may either bring a sack lunch or order a box lunch. Notice the two links that will facilitate your choice. If you choose to order a lunch, we'll send the choices shortly after receiving your registration.
We would urge you to place our email address in your address book to prevent follow up confirmations from going to a 'junk' or 'spam' folder. Providing us with a telephone number as a back up is very helpful
